That is a good question. While tutoring can be helpful in some situations, there is usually a reason why children and teens need academic support. We determine WHY students are having academic challenges and our brain-training, evidence-based programs help to remediate that difficulty. Our objective is to address root causes, enhancing skill development and impacting overall life skills. We go beyond the scope of tutoring, as we intertwine subject support, with individualized intervention.
Kids Learning Space, is results-driven and we are proud to offer support packages that yield progress and achievement. In order to start an intervention, you must purchase intervention hours, which are offered in blocks of 1, 5, 10, and 20 hours, depending on your needs. We recommend that you start off with our 15-minute free consult, in order to determine which intervention package would suit you best.

Absolutely. We believe in providing for the needs of our students and families. We offer in-person, as well as remote services, all depending on your family’s comfort level.
These are all very good questions and these are valid concerns. Teachers, psychologists, and outside professionals provide crucial information regarding students’ learning and progress – as do parents. However, the connection between all parties is often lacking. For example, a language therapist’s important recommendations, may or may not be implemented into the child’s classroom. At Kids Learning Space, we offer case managers, to help students and families reach their goals. We provide a full package of services – planning, coordination, communication, and accountability – connecting the professionals, school and home. Through this case management, we ensure that everyone is working as a team and that no student gets left behind.
During our initial consultation, we will assess and identify where the difficulties are coming from. Our experienced educators offer support, remediation and/or tutoring in all subject areas, depending on your needs. However, helping our students understand themselves as a learner is a priority. So, in addition to reinforcing the classroom content, we teach organization skills, relaxation techniques, note-taking, and time management skills, which is proven to significantly enhance learning and exam scores.
